Join us: Co-creation pilot sustainability benchmark

On April 12, 2022, we organised the Partos Knowledge Café: CSR within development organisations. This inspiring session produced a number of interesting documents. Like, ultimately, the updated CSR Handbook ‘To an Active, Adequate and Ambitious CSR Policy. Even after this publication, Partos members want to continue to inspire each other. The desire is, as a sector, to make sustainability with equal attention to people and climate and reporting on it central so that moral leadership can be shown on this topic.

A benchmark for the sector

We want to be able to compare sustainability goals and results within the sector. Therefore, a pilot project has been set up to develop a sector-specific sustainability benchmark. For the benchmark, we are working with GSES System. They have developed an internationally recognised scorecard to help NGOs, among others, manage sustainability performance. A sector-specific benchmark helps Partos members make their sustainability goals and results public and comparable among themselves to accelerate sustainability efforts in our sector.

The co-creation benchmark pilot

Red Cross Netherlands, Woord en Daad and War Child have already committed to work with GSES to develop a co-creation track for the Sustainability Benchmark. To successfully further develop the pilot project, we are looking for a maximum of 3 organisations to participate. They will have the opportunity to become forerunners in sustainable business practices. We will organise an information session in August or September. Here we will jointly agree on the pilot’s roadmap and map the organisations’ commitment.
